Earned My Wings

 

I guess someone heard I have been on 8 flights so far and they decided that I should be official! My mom's supervisor had some real wings made for me with my very own name engraved on them. I am so excited to fly again so I can wear these, my mom also said she would make me a pilots uniform to wear too!

At The Doctors Office

 

Yawwwwwwwn... Waiting for my mom to finish up at her Dr's appointment. I love coming with her because her Dr. is on Michigan Avenue downtown and dad and I get to walk around and look at all of the cool stores. The ladies who work there always get so excited when I am in the waiting room, they don't like to let me sleep and always offer to hold me. Geesh ladies, one at a time!

Weekend in Minneapolis

This weekend my mom and dad took me to Minneapolis to play with my buddies Olivia, Drew and their mom Kate. My dad went ice fishing with his friends and mom and I stayed in the cozy house and enjoyed Kate's yummy cooking. My dad caught the first fish! I cannot wait to go fishing when I get a little bigger...if mom will let me!

Reading With Mom

One of my favorite times of the day is reading with my mom. In the afternoon we like to lay a blanket down on the floor and she will read me all of my favorite books. I especially love the ones with big bright colors, and when mom uses a funny voice for some of the characters.

I hate to admit, but Sophie won this one. I can't believe she could go longer than me not blinking! I swear she is cheating somehow...

First Flights

Here are some pictures of my very first time on an airplane! I traveled on 8 flights in just over one week. I was very good and only cried a little on one flight, I got so sleepy that I slept on the rest. I was already a professional flier though, I had logged thousands of miles in my mommies tummy while she was working!

Visiting Family in Texas

Finally, off to Grandmothers and Great-Grandmothers house we go! We made the long journey to Texas so I could meet my Grandmother Kay and Great-Grandmother Nana. I was so excited to go somewhere warmer for a few days, and met so many new family members! I got to stay at Aunt Karla and Uncle Lloyds house in Midland. Mom and Dad bought me a cool tent to sleep in away from home and it was my very first time to use it. I got to see a puppy dog for the first time, next time I cannot wait to meet the goats.

Two Month Appointment

Today was my two month appointment, looks like I am in the 50th percentile in height and weight, whew...I was thinking I was going to be overweight at this visit! I thought I wouldn't have another shot ever again after leaving the NICU when I was born. Wrong! Apparently I have to get lots of shots, several times over the course of my life, no thank you.
